Rivalerne – TV 2 Denmark

United Casting contributed to the casting of children and young performers for the Danish TV 2 drama series Rivalerne.

The six-part series centres on three strong personalities in the fictional town of Elverkilde: biologist Karen, businessman Carl Felding and journalist Robert. A conflict over the town’s natural environment and future grows into a drama about power, inheritance, love, revenge and long-buried family secrets.

Johanne Louise Schmidt, Lars Mikkelsen and Jens Albinus lead the ensemble. The series was written by Anders Rønnow Klarlund and all six episodes were directed by Roni Ezra. Apple Tree Productions produced the series for TV 2, with Piv Bernth and Mathias Bruunshøj Jakobsen as producers and Lars Hermann as executive producer.
